To kick off March as Youth Art Month, Ayersville artists were honored March 2 in Columbus at The Kings Art Complex. Ann Marie Sigler's YAM (Youth Art Month) flag design earned honorable mention. Bella Stambaugh's YAM graphic design also earned honorable mention. Brynn Hanenkrath's and Antonio Rodriguez's pieces were displayed as part of the OAEA's 44th Annual YAM and YPAE (Young People's Art Exhibition).

🎸🎶🎭CAST AND CREW SPOTLIGHT🎭🎶🎸 Albert Peterson will be played by junior Drew Boyd. Previously Drew has appeared dozens of shows between Ayersville and the Fort Defiance Players, including “Sister Act Jr.” as Eddie, and “The Wizard of Oz” as the Cowardly Lion. Outside of theatre, he is involved in band, tennis, and swim. He would like to thank his Mom for introducing him to theatre, his Dad for keeping him sane, his sister for helping out, and Rob Lawson for his help with life, advice, and the greatest musical experience of his life. Rose Alvarez will be played by senior Rebecca Borgelt. Rebecca has previously appeared in many previous shows at Ayersville, including “Sister Act Jr.” as head nun Mother Superior and “The Wizard of Oz”, as the Wicked Witch of the West. Rebecca also participates in National Honors Society, Spanish Club, Quizbowl, Choir, Band, and the Black Swamp Community Orchestra. She would like to thank Ms. Stehura for making her theatre experience enjoyable and memorable. Rebecca’s future plans include studying Music Therapy at Bluffton University.
