Located near the rural, southeast corner of Defiance County, Ayersville Local Schools has a proud and historic tradition of academic excellence.  ALS is a K-12 school district, conveniently serving approximately 800 students within one building. In the spring of 2017, construction began on a new K-12 building for the district.  The new building opened in the fall of 2018 and will serve the Ayersville district for decades to come. As a small district, Ayersville provides many opportunities to its students including: A One-to-One laptop program for grades 5-12, Advanced Placement and College Credit Plus courses, as well as on-line classes through the NOVA program. Numerous opportunities are available in athletics, school clubs, and the performing arts as well.  We are the Pilot Nation, and together, we are better!
