Freshmen English students are learning/reviewing parts of speech to help improve their sentence structure and writing. They created unique statements, using various parts of speech, and performed the sentences, demonstrating the parts of speech.
The Junior High and High School Bands have been working hard this week preparing for their Winter Concert, this Sunday at 3pm in the auditorium. We have a lot of sounds of the season to share with you, including a special Christmas Sing-a-Long. We hope to see and HEAR many of you on Sunday.
In Anatomy I, students are using microscopes to observe different types of Epithelial tissues. We are studying the specific structures and functions as well as locations in the body of eight types of Epithelial tissues.

The service provider transferred services to an alternate region and the service is returning to normal.
There is currently an issue with Amazon Web Services that is affecting the student internet filter. This is causing websites not to load. An error of ‘too many redirects’ is shown.
This will effect students working at school and at home.
Last night our boys basketball team hosted the Good Samaritan Tigers at The Hanger! Glad we could help out and good luck this season.

Biology students created DNA models with an added challenge of making a model with the most base pairs. Students were required to show all the basic parts of DNA and have a minimum of 12 base pairs. The most base pairs in all of the classes was 108 base pairs big!
This is a reminder that the Ayersville Local Schools is on a scheduled 2 Hour Delay tomorrow (Dec. 1) for the purpose of staff professional development. This delay includes Four County students.
The Ayersville Theatre Department will be presenting "Sister Act, Jr." March 4-6. Auditions will be held December 13 & 14. Audition information is posted outside the choir room. Students 5-12 of all skill levels are encouraged to audition!

Beginning on Wednesday, December 1, the Ayersville Local Schools' natatorium will be closed for community use - this includes both AM and PM public swim hours. Pass holders will be contacted by the school to make alternative arrangements.
