To the Parent(s) of 10th and 11th grade students:

The courses in which students take an end of course exam are:

American History      Geometry                                  American Government

Students can earn 1 to 5 points for each exam, based on their performance.

5- Advanced      4-  Accelerated      3-  Proficient      2-  Basic      1-  Limited

Graduation Points- Students must earn 18 points on seven exams to be eligible for their high school diploma.  At least 4 of the 18 points must be from the two English exam, 4 from the two Math exams, and 6 from the Science and Social Studies combined.

If your student earned a 3, 4, or 5 they will not be required to retake the end of course exam for more points, but will have that option.  If your student has earned a 3 or 4 and is interested in retaking an exam please see Mr. Kuhlman, Mrs. Niese, or Mr. Fritz before December 16th. Students that received a 2 (basic) or 1 (limited) will be required to retake the exam during the Fall testing window for 2016.  That retake date will be January 10th and 11th during the school day.

Please contact me directly if you have any questions.
